Using an inflatable rubber boat for fishing on hikes
The boat's load capacity can be increased by attaching a camera from a car or bus to the stern using a frame of boards, as can be seen in the figure. The boards are connected with M6 screws and tied with nylon tape for reliability.
The frame can also be made on the spot from poles with a diameter of 4-8 cm. At the places of their connection, shallow slots are made, and the frame is tied with a nylon tape. Homemade rowlocks can be attached to the sides of the frame, it is useful to put a sheet of plywood or dense foam soaked with drying oil on the bottom of an inflatable boat. This increases the rigidity of the boat and improves its performance. It is desirable to lengthen and strengthen the oars, matching their size with the boat.
Above the car camera is usually equipped with a seat for the angler. Stands for fishing rods, cargo ropes, cages, etc. are attached to the frame. Before hiking, it is recommended to glue the bottom of the inflatable boat with a thin rubberized cloth or cover it with a tarpaulin shell. This prevents scuffs, punctures, cuts of the bottom of the boat and cylinders on sharp stones, driftwood.
When fishing from an inflatable boat, it is not recommended to tie the anchor rope to rubber rowlocks or to the boat's insurance harness. It is better to have special holders for anchoring the boat.
1 - plywood or foam sheet; 2 - frame; 3 - angler's seat; 4 - car camera
1 -- boat balloon; 2 - rubber gasket; 3 - metal bracket
The holder is a metal bracket covering 2/3 of the boat's balloon, with a diameter slightly smaller than the diameter of the balloon. The holder is installed on the balloon in the lowered state of the boat, a strip of rubber is placed under it and the boat is inflated.
Rafts have considerable advantages for fishing. They are stable, you can use them to make spinning casts standing up, catch with a vertical spinner, it is convenient to place fishing rods and other gear on them. It is known that the fish is not afraid of large rafts and even, on the contrary, fits them.
